Scans are Blank

Goal:

To solve the issue where all scans are blank

Note: When your scans are blank, it is usually because the user is not using a PDF viewer such as Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to open and view their PDF documents.


Make sure to download and install a PDF viewer onto your computer.

After doing so, please refer to the following knowledge base articles to ensure that you are opening all PDF documents with your PDF viewer.

  • Windows 10 Computers: Refer to the “Change Default App to PDF Viewer Win10” knowledge base article.
  • Windows 7 Computers: Refer to the “Change Default App to PDF Viewer Win7” knowledge base article.
