Check Scanner’s Scan Count Windows
Goal:
To check the scanner’s current scan count
Using OneTouch (Simple Way):
Step 1: Right click on the OneTouch icon on the bottom right of your taskbar.
Step 2: Click on “Show Hardware”
Step 3: Select your scanner and then click “Properties.”
Step 4: Here you can see the different scan counts for you scanner. (Can vary depending on the model scanner you have).
Using Control Panel:
Step 1: Go to your Control Panel.
- a. Windows 10/8: Type “control panel” into the search bar on the bottom left of your taskbar. Then select the control panel in the search results.
- b. Windows 7: Left click the windows icon on the bottom left of your taskbar and select Control Panel.
Step 2: Ensure that your “View by:” in the upper right is set to “Category“. Click on “View devices and printers” under “Hardware and Sound.”
Step 3: Double click the icon that represents your scanner, then click on “Scanner Properties.”
Step 4: Go to the “Device settings” tab.
Step 5: Here you can see the different scan counts for you scanner. (Can vary depending on the model scanner you have).
Step 6: You can also reset the pad and roller scan count here if needed. (For tracking or after cleaning/replacing roller or ADF pad)
