Calibrating Your Scanner Win10
Goal:
To calibrate the scanner to improve performance
Note: If you do not have the calibration sheet included with your scanner, a plain white sheet of paper will work in its place.
Windows 10:
Step 1: Click on the search bar on the bottom right of your taskbar and type “Control Panel.”
Step 2: Click “View devices and printers.”
Step 3: Double click on your scanner. (Make sure that it is plugged in and powered on)
Step 4: Click on “Scanner properties.”
Step 5: In the pop up scanner properties windows, select the “Device settings” tab.
Step 6: Click on the “Calibrate” button then follow the on screen instructions.
Using OneTouch:
Step 1: Right click on the OneTouch icon on the bottom right of your taskbar.
Step 2: Click on “Show Hardware.”
Step 3: Select your scanner and then click “Properties.”
Step 4: Click on the “Calibrate” button then follow the on screen instructions.”
