Scanning Using TWAIN in Devices and Printers

Goal:

To scan using TWAIN in devices and printers

Note: Please note that scanning in Devices and Printers only outputs scans as a picture and not PDF files.

Windows 10:

Step 1: Click on the search bar on the bottom right of your taskbar and type Control Panel.

Step 2: Click View devices and printers.

Step 3: Double click on your scanner. (Make sure that it is plugged in and powered on)

Step 4: Click on Start Scanning.

Step 5: The TWAIN Driver should pop up to scan.

Windows 7:

Step 1: Click on the Windows icon on the bottom left of your taskbar and select Devices and Printers.

Step 2: Double click on your scanner. (Make sure that it is plugged in and powered on)

Step 3: Click on Start Scanning.

Step 4: The TWAIN Driver should pop up to scan.
