Invoke Link Error
Goal:
To set up Transfer to Storage on our computer when the Invoke Link Error occurs
Note: This error occurs when the destination folder settings of Transfer to Storage destinations point to a corrupted or nonexistant location.
Step 1: Open OneTouch on the bottom right of your taskbar.
If you do not see the icon there, open the Start Menu, and search for the “Start OneTouch” application. Run it.
Step 2: If prompted, select the scanner that is connected to your PC.
Step 3: Right click on the Scan icon (or Paper In for mobile scanners). This will open the Properties window.
Step 4: In the properties window, Make sure that “Transfer to Storage” is selected under “Select Destination.” Click on the “Properties” button underneath the list.
Step 5: Select either “Browse” or “Prompt for destination folder” depending on how you want to set the destination. If you chose “Browse“, select a folder different from the one that was already selected.
Step 6: Click on “Apply” and “Ok” on all windows to ensure that your changes are saved.
